WooCommerce Settings

WooCommerce is a good plugin to create an own webshop with WordPress. It is comfortable, but still missing some settings. The LeftSell plugin enhances WooCommerce with some settings. WooCommerce is busy working on their plugin. Not long ago, the JSON data generator for products has been released. So we disable our generator. That is cool, go on with it!

Product Type Services

Enable normal products to become a service. Changes the Button “Add to cart” to “book” in case of changing a product to a service. The products gets the flag “virtual” in order not to produce shipping costs for services.

Woocommerce Theme support

With this switch you declare your theme as supporting WooCommerce.

Disable WooCommerce warnings

WooCommerce allows addons to WooCommerce. Some of these addons use the warning function to spam your admin interface. This switch turns it off.

GTIN – global Trading Number

WooCommerce has the GTIN. We leave it in here, because it belongs to all other numbers. Find the field to enter it below the content editor.

SKU – Stock Keeping Unit

Edit the Stock Keeping Unit Number (SKU) directly below the content editor.

MPN – Manufactor part number

Edit the Manufactor part number below the content editor of your product description.

Brand

The Branding is requested for the Google Merchant Center. Edit the Brand of your product below the content editor.

Adult Content

If you provide products with adult content, you can set it to adult content with a switch below the editor.

Item condition

This information is also requested for the Productfeed in Merchant Center. Select “new”, “used” or “refurbished”

Frontend Design

Remove Description Title

On the product page in tab “Description”, there is a title “Description”. This switch removes it.
