Privacy Policiy

The Privacy policies are diveded in two parts. Once for the LeftSell plugin and once for this website.

LeftSell Plugin

External communication

The LeftSell WordPress Plugin depends on the external REST API under apiXXX.leftsell.com. XXX is the version number of the api. This ensures the right communication between plugin version and REST Server version.

Transmitted data and saved data

  • Plugin activation
If you activate the plugin, your shop gets automatically registered. The WebURL of your shop is beeing transmitted to the API Server. In reply you receive a shopnumber. This number is stored in your local wp_options table using standard WordPress functions.
On the server we store your submitted URL. Additionally we set a flag, that your shop is active. If you once did something not suitable to our terms and conditions, a flag “blocked” is stored, too. This is transmitted in the reply of your activation and stored in your wp_options.

  • Admin Communication page: News
On the communication page “News” you automatically send a request to the server to receive the latest news. Your shopid is transmitted in order to know, to whoom we have to send the news. The data are not stored.

  • Admin Communication page: Bugreporting
You can submit a bug. The server saves your text combined with your shopid. Locally your bugreports are saved in order to display them quicker on your admin interface.

  • Admin Communication: Feature requests
You can request features for the plugin. These requests are transmitted to the server and stored on the server together with your shopid. Your requests are also stored in your wp_options to display them quicker.

All data storing is done by WordPress standard functions and fullfill the security policies of WordPress.
